עמותת SpaceIL עשתה צעד נוסף לעבר שיגור משימת בראשית 2 למשימת ירח, וחתמה על חוזה במסגרתו תרכוש מחברת AAC Clyde Space, חברת חלל שוודית, את מחשבי המשימה של הנחתות.
המחשב שיסופק לבניית החללית במהלך הרבעון הראשון של 2024, יכיל את התוכנה המוטסת, המבצעת את כל הפעולות של ניהול המשימה לרבות התקשורת עם כדור הארץ, ניטור וטיפול בתקלות, וניהול מערכת הנחיתה האוטומטית.
